Rahman's Nephew G V Prakash Bollywood Debut with JOKER
AR Rahman's nephew who had made his foray into the film industry with Rajinikanth's Kuselan has grabbed a unique opportunity to enter the Hindi film industry through Shirish Kunder's 'Joker'. Prakash who has just tasted success with southern actor Dhanush's venture 'Aadukalam' is all set to enter Bollywood. The 23 year old composer has already begun his work for the film and Shirish Kunder is very impressed by the sound innovation he brings to his compositions. Its coincidental that it was the same person who arranged the music for his last film Jaan-E-Mann which has music by Anu Malik.
The director was very much awed by the young composer's capabilities that he had ensured him a big project even during the filming stages of Jaan-E-Mann. The big break has indeed arrived for GV Prakash who was struggling to maintain a foothold in the southern film industry. It would be much more than a mere challenge for the budding composer to satisfy the director's expectations. But Shirish Kunder doesn't seem worried. He's more than confident that this promising composer would fulfill his expectations. Similar to Jaan-E-Mann, the director expects an equally good and hatke compositions from this young promising composer.
The shooting of the film is likely to begin by this month. The hype surrounding 'Joker' is very high as the film boasts of an effervescent cast starring Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha, Shreyas Talapade and Minissha Lamba. So, one can sense the excitement the product is bound to generate and GV Prakash would indeed feel overwhelmed and would be going all guns blazing make this huge opportunity count. The film is being co-produced by Akshay Kumar's home production Hari Om Entertainment and Shirish Kunder and Farah Khan's Three's Company.
